    The Beta is different. you can make the tower work with some small mods. I've got used 2008-09's and a new 2009. give me a shout.

    The bolt distances on the Betas are slightly different than on KTMs. I know this because the clamps on a friend's 530 EXC broke one day while we were out riding, and we tried the top bracket from my 450RR. The drillings are just different enough for it to not work without machining.

    I actually prefer the street unit on my dirt bikes. The street unit damps in both directions whereas the dirt unit only damps going out not on return.

    Correct, but I believe that the high-speed damping works in both directions per a conversation I had on the phone with them. However, I need to confirm this before asserting it for certain.
