Finally putting time on the new 2011 450RR. The rear seems to have settled in. I am dedicating this bike to mostly trail and was able to get it plated and street legal.

Chip @ Threat Racing has helped me a ton and can't thank him enough. Bought my bike down in Farmington,NM @ D&L ATV World fom Dave, this being the closest and only one that carried one in the shop. I had been wanting to look at one for almost a year. Saw it and bought it. Pretty happy so far. E-start is nice.

Will have to sort out the fork a bit more but it is working nice.
Seat is a tad hard though. Might try to modify that or stand up alot more!

I am going to be in Durango for fourth of July. I would love to go ride and see what the Co. scene has to offer. Do you know the area pretty well, lots of trails?

Sorry I nevergot back to you as I don't get on the sight a lot. Yes there are a few good trails and we have been battling to keep many open. Real good high mountain trails over by Rico and closest single track is Hermoso which is a multi-use trail that can get real busy, mtn bikes, horse, hikers. Lot of jeep trails up by Silerton but they are mostly that. Better for dual-sport. A few new trails have opened up but snow is still in high country right now and I am getting off a cast on my throttle hand from a get-off mtn biking in mmoab. If you get back this way I hope I can set you right. Better to get to me by my email...

I ended up getting a gutz soft seat for my 09 but the 09 seat was harder than the newer seats like you have . I love my gutz seat though....just keep it in mind for later... Break in time will also make a difference. Welcome to the Beta ranks!!
