Here's my "new to me" 2010 400 RR. This pic is as purchased, I am in the process of converting it to dual sport. Came from a yamaha WR250R to this. I can tell it is going to be a great bike! Looking forward to being a part of the Beta-Talk community.

Congrats, lets us know your first thoughts about the bike. And the comparison to the WR. Looks like an 09 seat cover?

Might be an older seat cover. It came with two covers. The other one is more black than red. I'm liking the one that is on it so far. Hopefully in another week or so I will have all the new bits installed and the tag on it, so I can get it out on the trails!

What did you get for it? Acc wise. I put Cycras on mine last week and ordered up springs and a bigger rear sprocket yesterday!

I've had the conversion done for a while now, and have put about 600 miles on it, mix of pavement and trails. Love the bike!
-
nice, did you paint the rs engine cover? compared to first pic.
I resprung mine, put on the crf's like you got but black flags. Fan kit, plastic skid plate, new rear tire, bigger rear sprocket. I'm addicted.

Yeah, I repainted it. Primed it with two part epoxy primer and then black over that. It has been holding up very well, but if it does wear off, I think I will have it powder coated. It sure makes a bike look better with engine covers that aren't trashed!
Put on the cycras, grip heaters, led turn signals, horn, supersprox sprocket and renthal chain. Michelin t63 on the front, pirelli mt21 on the rear.
Does great in the dirt and on the street. I keep my highway speed about 60-65. I used motion pro liteloc rimlocks and then balanced the wheels with lead weights.

I'm running 14-50 right now, and have a 13 on hand if I feel the need to gear down. So far I don't feel the need. The bike will climb any hill around the trails I ride, and still cruise comfortably at 55-65 mph.
