    Skid plate for 2010 520RR?

Guys, are there any available besides the 200.00 carbon fiber plates in Beta store. I need to protect the cases better. Got a scrape on my RS cover that could have been disasterous.
    Thanks.

I couldn't find anything else so put the money out for the carbon fiber, glad I did it took a huge hit and had no damage.

Did the bike not come with one stock? Carbon seems like it wouldn't hold up well to rocks and larger roots.

Yes, it came with one but there is no side protection for the cases. I was thinking the same thing about the carbon.

With enough abuse, carbon fiber will crack over time. Aluminum plates are still the best bet.

    Try this: http://www.mecasystem.fr/eng/pr/2/be...520-am-10.html
Still I would prefer the new factory carbon plate.....

Thanks GreekBeta. Looks like a nice plate but I think your right about the stock carbon.

Try AmericanBeta for an aluminum skid plate that offers more protection than the stock aluminum.

Get Dirty Dirt Bikes in Palm Springs can also sell you one. I believe they are the folks who are actually making the aluminum skid plate that offers more protection than the stock version.
