    RS igntion switch for RR

Does anybody know if I can buy a 2011 RS ignition switch and plug and play to my 2010 RR? If yes, does anybody know the part number or where to find it. I checked AB/support/parts manuals but could not find the switch, keys, and bracket.
    Thanks.

Good idea! I'd also like to know the answer to that question.

There are many differences between headlight and TS wiring.
    The short answer is NO.

I used a KTM spec Sicass Bar Switch and matched up the wiring myself.

To be honest all of the current available multifunction bar switches are garbage for serious offroading. But the Sicass switch which is a narrow K&L switch is the best I've found so far.

I have the left side combo switch off an RS that works perfect. That was plug and play. I am just looking for a key. My bike fell over the other day at a ball game and before I got to it a guy was trying to help me out and pick up the bike. He was grabbing the handlebars and was pushing the start button at the same time. An ignition and a key would be nice.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I used the sicass universal iginition switch on my RR. It is a very nice piece. It comes with a bracket that bolts it to the right, aft handlebar clamp bolt. The wiring is simple, and the instructions are good. It has two circuits. One goes in series with the start switch wiring and that prevents the starter from working when the key is off. The other circuit goes in parallel with the kill button, and has the same efect as holding the kill switch down, so the bike cannot be kick started when the key is off. The switch has good detent feel, a cool umbella type key cap that keeps water and crud out of the switch, and the the key cannot be removed when in the on position. 'nuff said.

Mark.... Are you talking about the Sicass Universal Keyed Kill Switch shown here?

    Just double checking.

That's the one. I'm impressed all around. A few dollars more than some other options out there, but worth it IMO.

Mark... when you turn the keyed switch to the "on" position does the instrument cluster come on?

It would be nice to be able to check mileage, reset odometer...etc without having to have the bike running. Just curious if the switch solves this "problem".

Nope, the only thing the switch does (the way I wired it at least) is to enable or disable starting the bike. It may be able to be wired differently to do what you are wanting though. It essentialy has one normally open and one normally closed circuit. What you do with them is up to you (and your wiring skills!)
