I'm rocking a Scotts damper on my 09 450rr and unfortunately, it's an over-bar setup. I need to have my grips up about 1 inch higher, and my option is to put on a bar that has a higher rise. Anybody have any suggestions or OEM bar specs?

We use RC High for the tall guys. You can also add spacers under the bar mounts, stabilizer works fine, just raise the pin.

Cool, thanks. I'll give it a try before pulling the trigger on a whole new bar.
I prefer a slightly narrower but taller bar with not too much pullback or sweep in all my bars. The 29.5" Renthal Mini Bend FatBar fits the bill perfectly for me.

Nice, thanks. Yeah that's exactly what I'm looking for. When I ride in rough stuff and on fire roads with water bars, I ride standing up. I want my hands to fall slightly in front of my legs so that I can be in a neutral position and not be fighting to stay behind my hands. I don't want to be "in" the bar sweep, if you know what I mean. That feels very awkward and risky in terms of going over the handlebars in a stall.
I am 6' 2" and I rode with an rc high when I had a top mount scotts, but I didn't like the top mounted scotts staring me in the 'nads. I submounted my scotts and went back to the stock bar with 1 1/8" of risers(and a nice bar pad on top). I dont know if sub mounts are now made for beta, but when I did mine I had to do it myself by drilling and tapping the top triple clamp. Not a big deal if you have access to a lathe. Made an alignment bushing to set it up and then cut to spacers to clear the top of the nut and it was done. I never have racked myself on a top mount stabilizer, but I just feel better with it under the bars. I ride lots of single track and rough terrain and like to stand most of the time.
